Music Therapy

Music Therapy is an evidence-based intervention that supports cognitive, social, emotional, motor, sensory, and wellness goals. Music therapy helps to reinforce communication skills and facilitate emotional regulation. This helps children self-soothe, connect, and reduce stress. Repetition and rhythm improve memory skills such as recall and retention while strengthening auditory processing abilities, therefore increasing overall comprehension.

The highly collaborative aspect of music improves social interaction skills and fosters connections with others. Engaging with music from a young age can boost a child’s confidence and significantly increase their quality of life.
